BOARD OF CANVASSERS REMINDS VOTERS OF IMPORTANT UPCOMING DATES FOR THE
NOVEMBER 8, 2022, GENERAL ELECTION
Sunday, October 9, 2022, Deadline to Register to Vote
On Sunday October 9th the Board of Canvassers will be accepting registrations at the Woonsocket Police Station, 242 Clinton St. from 1pm to 4pm. You may also visit vote.ri.gov and register to vote online. If mailing in a voter registration form, it must be postmarked on or before October 9th.
Tuesday October 18, 2022, Deadline to Apply for a Mail in Ballot
Tuesday October 18th at 4pm is the deadline to apply for a mail in ballot. You may obtain an application online at woonsocketri.org/board-canvassers or by contacting our office at 767-9223.
Wednesday October 19, 2022, through November 7, 2022, Early Voting at City Hall
Early voting at City Hall will take place Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm and end on Monday November 7th at 4pm.
Tuesday November 8, 2022, Election Day
Polling places will be open from 7am to 8pm. You must vote at your assigned polling place. You can obtain your assigned polling place and view a sample ballot when available by visiting vote.ri.gov or by calling our office at 767-9223.
