DRIVER’S ED COURSES NOW ENROLLING AT

WOONSOCKET EDUCATION CENTER

 

WOONSOCKET, RHODE ISLAND (October 20, 2022) – Spots are available in three driver’s education courses for teens ready to learn how to drive a motor vehicle. Offered by Community College of Rhode Island at the new Woonsocket Education Center, the course is open to students who are at least 15 years and 10 months old by the first class. Successful completion of this course earns a certificate that students may present to the RI Department of Motor Vehicles for a drivers permit. 

The courses will be held: October 24-November 18 (M,W, F) from 6:30-8:30 p.m.; November 28-December 21 (M,W, F) from 6:30-8:30 p.m., and December 26-30 (M-F) from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

In addition to the $120 course fee, a $10 registration fee is charged. The required textbook can be purchased at CCRI for $24.95 or at AAA branches for a discount.
