Earth Day Clean-Up Event 2023
In our continuing effort to keep Woonsocket Clean and Green, we are excited to announce our Earth Day Clean Up Event taking place on Saturday, April 22nd from 8am – 12pm. We have chosen 3 locations in the City to tackle. We are looking forward to having volunteers register and meet us out there to really make a difference!
We have chosen:
- Costa Park and the Fairmount St, Olo Street and First Avenue Area
- Dunn Park and Sunnyside Avenue Area
- Cass Avenue “Rear” – the wooded area behind 311 Cass Ave.

Gloves, pickers, and bags will be provided, as well as beverages and light snacks for all volunteers. Please dress appropriately and wear sturdy comfortable shoes. Bring a friend or come alone – this is an event for anyone looking to ‘do a little good’ for the earth!
If you are unable to attend this event but would like to round up a few friends on your own another day in April, please reach out to our department and we will happily assign a location as well as provide pickers, gloves, and bags.
