On March 3, 2023, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Peterson Ramirez with two counts of first-degree child molestation, one count of first-degree sexual assault, and two counts of conspiracy to commit first-degree child molestation and first-degree sexual assault with co-defendant Crystal Ramirez.
The alleged acts occurred in the city of Woonsocket on diverse dates between January 1, 2018, and January 1, 2022. The Woonsocket Police Department conducted the investigation.
