DOWNTOWN WOONSOCKET COLLABORATIVE ANNOUNCES RETURN OF

TWILIGHT ON THE BLACKSTONE

 

The Downtown Woonsocket Collaborative is excited to announce that our signature event,

"Twilight on the Blackstone" is returning this year! We can't wait to celebrate another wonderful

night of dining, dancing, and fun on the Court Street bridge. This year's dinner is planned for

Saturday, August 26th, from 6pm to 10pm with a rain date of August 27th. This event is the yearly

fundraiser for DWC, a non-profit board of Main Street enthusiasts dedicated to the revitalization

and promotion of the downtown

 

Local chef Mike Heroux will be preparing a multi-course meal which will include bruschetta

crostini, corn and crab chowder, and a mixed greens salad with wild berries, pistachio goat cheese,

pickled red onion, and raspberry vinaigrette. The entree will be a roast tenderloin of beef with

mushroom ragu and red wine demi glacé, served with parsnip and potato puree and roasted carrot

batonettes. Dessert menu TBA. Local band “No Exit 4” will be providing music throughout the

night.

Woonsocket" said Event Chair Melissa Murray. "Where else can you dine, drink, mingle, and

dance the night away under the stars 100 feet above the scenic Blackstone River? Our goal is to

offer a one-of-a-kind experience that will give both Woonsocket residents and visitors a new love

and appreciation for our City and all that it offers."

DWC Chair Adam Brunetti.

 

Tickets are now available on our website, www.dwc02895.org. Tickets are $75 per person, $150

per couple, or a full table of eight for $560. Event sponsorships are available for $250, $500, or

$1000 on the event page of our website. DWC is a 501c3 organization and tax advantages may
