A Blue Christmas/Longest Night Worship experience will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 21, at 7 p.m., marking the longest night of the year. This worship experience is for anyone who finds this season difficult, has experienced loss or grief, lives with anxiety or depression, feels overwhelmed, stressed, or exhausted, or, for any other reason, finds the season of Advent and Christmas less than holly and jolly. This service is also for those who want to share the comfort of their presence with those who are grieving, struggling, or just getting through the season. All are welcome, whether it’s your first time in a church, you’ve grown up in the Arnold Mills church, or any other faith community.

The Rev. Heather Bailes Baker, pastor, is offering the Advent sermon series “The Gift of Being Present” in which she highlights the ways we can be a gift of hope, peace, joy and love in this holy, and sometimes hectic, season.

All Advent activities are listed on the church's Facebook page, Arnold Mills United Methodist Church.
