RISE is now accepting submissions for its 2nd annual One Act Festival!

 

 

Attention playwrights and directors!

It’s time to submit your proposals for the second annual one-act festival. Renamed the Skits and One Act Play Showcase (SOAPS), this event will be held May 10-12, 2024 at Beacon Charter High School in Woonsocket, RI. 

Plays must be one hour or less. Very short works (five minutes or less) are encouraged.

Works should be original or if published, royalty free.
For original works, playwrights are responsible for identifying a director. Directors/playwrights will be responsible for casting. Rehearsal and audition space will be available at the Beacon High School.
If interested in submitting a proposal, visit www.ristage.org and complete the submission form by March 31.
