PROVIDENCE, RI – Governor Dan McKee today was joined by House Speaker K. Joseph Shekarchi and Senator Mark McKenney to swear in Kas DeCarvalho as the newest Associate Judge on the Rhode Island District Court.
Also in attendance were Congressman Gabe Amo, Lt. Governor Sabina Matos, Secretary of State Gregg Amore, and General Treasurer James Diossa.
“Judge DeCarvalho is a dedicated, honest, and passionate leader who brings decades of experience to the bench," said Governor McKee. "I am deeply honored to swear in Judge DeCarvalho and I thank him for his continued dedication to the people of Rhode Island."
“Congratulations to Kas DeCarvalho on being sworn in as Rhode Island's newest Associate Judge today,” said Speaker of the House K. Joseph Shekarchi. “Judge DeCarvalho has been working in and for our communities for decades. He is a phenomenal attorney and a wonderful person. I know he will be an exceptional addition to Rhode Island's judicial bench.”
