TEEN SUMMER READING INFO
Summer is here at last. As the temperature rises, Woonsocket Harris Public Library Teen department starts up the Summer Reading Challenge. Don’t worry, it is not that challenging. It’s open to anyone in Middle School or High School and they can win prizes for every book they read. That is all you have to do, read books and report back on what you have read. Pick any book that you want, even those that are not from the library. When you read a book, you will automatically be entered in a weekly prize drawing. We’ve restocked the Steampunk Book Cart with fresh books, but you’ll want to get there before all the best books are gone. This summer promises to be the best ever. To sign up all you have to do is stop by the Teen desk or ask at the Children’s Room and start reading!

Dungeons and Dragons for Teens    Tuesdays 3:00-4:30pm

Anyone in Middle School or High School under the age of 18 is invited to join the weekly Dungeons and Dragons game. It’s an ongoing storytelling based adventure with the focus on fun and excitement rather than rules. From the darkened canals of Verenzia to the dinosaur filled jungles of Srathus, an entire world of role playing adventure awaits.
