Amo to Convene Roundtable with Experts to Prevent Senior Fraud

 

MIDDLETOWN, RITOMORROW, January 17, 2024, at 11:15 AM, Congressman Gabe Amo (RI-01) will convene an informative discussion on how Rhode Islanders can best protect themselves from financial fraud and from scams that target seniors in our community.

 

Rhode Island is among the top-ten states that experienced an increase in senior fraud between 2022 and 2023. The event follows up on Congressman Amo’s recent efforts urging the Federal Trade Commission to do more to prevent senior fraud in Rhode Island.
