On September 21, 2022, the Statewide Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Amauri Razon with one count of first-degree sexual assault, one count of domestic felony assault, one count of domestic strangulation, one count of domestic simple assault, one count of domestic refusal to relinquish a telephone for an emergency call; and one count of domestic violation of a No Contact Order.

 

The alleged acts occurred in the city of Providence sometime on February 2, 2022. The Providence Police Department conducted the investigation.

 

The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on October 12, 2022, in Providence County Superior Court.

 

 

Anthony Richardson (age 20)

On September 22, 2022, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Anthony Richardson with one count of first-degree robbery and one count of conspiracy to commit robbery.

 

The alleged acts occurred in the city of Providence sometime on April 10, 2022. The Providence Police Department conducted the investigation.

 

The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on October 12, 2022, in Providence County Superior Court.

 

 

 

The jury in the Sean "Diddy" Combs sex crimes trial is trying to reach a verdict on the last of five counts. They still need to decide on the top charge of racketeering which means they must determine whether the embattled hip hop mogul took part in a criminal enterprise. They did reach a verdict on Tuesday on sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution charges involving two women.        GOP House members are aiming to pass President Trump's massive spending bill. The legislation squeaked through the Senate Tuesday with Vice President Vance forced to cast the tie breaking vote. But now the House has to take a crack at that version, altered from the one the House originally passed.        The eastern half of the country is expected get hit by storms thanks to a cold front. The Mid-Atlantic region has been hit with thunderstorms as heavy rains have led to flooding in Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Today, storm conditions may be seen along the coast of the Carolinas down to Georgia.        President Trump is calling on Hamas to accept what's he's calling the "final proposal" for a 60-day ceasefire with Israel. He posted on Truth Social Tuesday that Israel has agreed to the U.S. conditions, and that he hopes it brings peace to Gaza. He also warned that if Hamas doesn't accept the deal, the conflict will "only get worse."        A 16-million-dollar settlement has been reached between the owner of CBS News and Donald Trump over a "60 Minutes" interview with then-Vice President Kamala Harris. Paramount Global said Tuesday the settlement includes plaintiff's fees and costs and will be paid to Trump's future presidential library. It does not include a statement of apology or regret.        "Jurassic World Rebirth" will roar loudly at the box office this weekend. The seventh film in the dinosaur franchise is expected to make 100 to 125-million-dollars over the Fourth of July holiday weekend. The film officially opens today due to the holiday being on a Friday.
