Two federal judges want the Trump administration to partially fund SNAP. The food assistance program is set to expire on Saturday unless the government re-opens, impacting 42-million low-income Americans who are enrolled. A Rhode Island judge and a Massachusetts judge said the administration must tap emergency funds that will cover some of the SNAP program.        President Trump has denied he is considering striking military targets in Venezuela. When asked if the reports of the U.S. readying strikes were true, the president simply said, "No." Multiple reports earlier today said the U.S. was preparing to hit targets including military facilities used for drug trafficking.        Trick-or-treaters are set to deal with some wicked winds. Strong wind advisories are out for 46-million people starting this afternoon in place across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. Some gust could reach 40-to-50 miles per hour.        FBI Director Kash Patel says a potential terror attack in the U.S. is no longer a threat. In a post on X this morning, Patel said multiple suspects have been arrested in Michigan area who were allegedly plotting a violent attack this weekend. Patel added that more details will be forthcoming and thanked the men and women of FBI and law enforcement for, in his words, "standing guard 24/7 and crushing our mission to defend the homeland."        The clocks shift back an hour this Sunday to mark the end of Daylight Saving Time. While there is a link between moving the clocks forward and things like heart attacks and traffic accidents, there are fewer issues when it comes to moving them back. Many will get an extra hour of sleep, which can cause some issues with sleep habits.        The NBA Cup tips off tonight. Group play of the league's in-season tournament begins with eight games on the schedule. Some of the early games include the Indiana Pacers hosting the Atlanta Hawks and the Boston Celtics visiting the Philadelphia 76ers. Later in the night the Lakers will take on the Grizzlies in Memphis and the Phoenix Suns will host the Utah Jazz.
