Join us at the Woonsocket Harris Public Library on Saturday afternoon November 16th for a family craft between 2-3pm.

We will be making birdfeeders out of pinecones. We have lots of colorful yarn to attach to your pinecone. Then  roll the pinecone in vegetable shortening and then roll the pinecone in birdseed! We use vegetable shortening instead of  peanut butter due to allergy concerns. Finished pinecones will be placed in a zip lock bag for safe travels. This is a drop in craft while supplies last. No need to register in advance.

A plane carrying hundreds of Americans evacuated from the Chinese city where the coronavirus originated has landed in Anchorage, Alaska. It's just a refueling stop before they head on to California, where their destination has now been changed. Instead of flying into Ontario International Airport, the passengers are being taken to March Air Reserve Base in Riverside County, California where they'll be screened for any signs of the potentially deadly virus that's spreading around the globe.        President Trump rallied his base a rally in New Jersey on Tuesday just hours after his defense team wrapped up their case in his impeachment trial. He was there to stump for state Congressman Jeff Van Drew, who recently switched from Democrat to Republican. Trump heads to Iowa on Thursday for his second rally this week before voting begins there on Monday.       Lawmakers on Capitol Hill are honoring the victims of the California helicopter crash that killed basketball legend Kobe Bryant. Representative Maxine Waters called for a moment of silence on the House floor Tuesday. The California Democrat said Bryant's death "is deeply painful" for the city of Los Angeles and his fans around the world. Kobe and his daughter Gianna were among the nine people killed in the crash on Sunday.        A man is under arrest for smoking marijuana inside a Tennessee courtroom. Spencer Boston was taken into custody on Monday when he appeared in a Wilson County courtroom on a charge of simple possession and began smoking a joint while discussing the need to legalize marijuana. Boston is now facing additional charges, including disorderly conduct.       Coming to a Super Bowl ad for the first time ever: Drag queens. Kim Chi and Miz Cracker of "RuPaul's Drag Race" fame will appear in a commercial for Sabra hummus during the big game on February 2nd in Miami.
