PARKING BAN
WOONSOCKET, RI: The City of Woonsocket has announced a city-wide parking ban in effect from 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2023, until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 15, 2023. On-street parking is prohibited during this time to allow crews to effectively and safely clear all roads. The investigation centers around alleged payments Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen made to adult film star Stormy Daniels in 2016 to cover-up an alleged affair. The CEO of TikTok is set to address U.S. lawmakers today amid national security concerns over the popular video app. Members of the House Energy and Commerce Committee are expected to grill Shou Chew, who will argue the app is safe for minors and that a nationwide ban would hurt the U.S economy. Five people are dead after a military veteran went on a brutal killing spree in South Carolina. Police say Charles Slacks Jr. used a key to enter his ex-wife's home on Tuesday night before fatally shooting her co-worker in the backyard. While the woman was trying to call 911, Slacks ran upstairs and killed three children who were sleeping. He then turned the gun on himself. The Florida State Chapter of the NAACP is moving forward with its plans to issue a travel advisory to anyone planning to visit the state. The chapter unanimously voted over the weekend to ask the NAACP National Board to put the order in place.
