President Trump says he told Russian President Vladimir Putin that "we can't have meddling." In an interview with CBS News, Trump said he was very strong on that point during his one-on-one talks with Putin in Helsinki. The President said he also made it clear to Putin that he agrees with the U.S. intelligence community's conclusion that Russia meddled in the 2016 election.        Nearly two-dozen soldiers are recovering after they were injured when a tent collapsed at an Army base on the Central California coast. It happened yesterday at Fort Hunter Liggett in Monterey County. The Army says a helicopter coming in to land kicked up a lot of dirt and caused a tent structure to collapse, injuring 22 soldiers.        President Trump will host a "Pledge to the American Worker" event at the White House today. At a Cabinet meeting yesterday, Trump said he will be making a "big announcement" on a workforce training initiative. He added that he wants Americans to have choices about jobs, and to find jobs they really love.       Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is facing backlash for comments seemingly defending Holocaust deniers. In an interview with the online tech website Recode, Zuckerberg said while he found Holocaust denial "deeply offensive," deniers would not be banned from Facebook. In a follow up email, Zuckerberg said he didn't intend to defend people who deny the Holocaust.        An initiative to divide California into three states will not appear on the November ballot. The California Supreme Court has blocked Proposition 9 from reaching the ballot. The court cites significant questions regarding the proposition's validity, and says the potential harm in permitting the measure to remain on the ballot outweighs the potential harm in delaying the proposition.        Billy Joel is celebrating his 100th performance at Madison Square Garden. Last night's record-breaking show included a surprise appearance by Bruce Springsteen, who joined Joel onstage for performances of Springsteen's Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out and Born To Run. No other musical act has performed at the famous venue in New York City as many times as Joel.
