Police say they have arrested the suspect in the deadly Netherlands tram shooting. Three people were murdered and several were hurt when a man, identified as Gokmen [[ gawk-men ]] Tanis, opened fire. Tanis was born in Turkey. Police say the attack has all the markings of terrorism.        Iowa, Nebraska and Wisconsin are dealing with deadly and historic flooding. At least 16 rivers are flooding, with the worst along the Nebraska and Iowa border. Three people have died and hundreds of others are being forced to flee their homes. The National Weather Service says the Missouri and Mississippi river basins have risen to historic levels.       Meghan McCain is unloading on President Trump after his weekend Twitter attacks on her late father. McCain is a co-host of ABC's "The View" and said today that, unlike her dad, Trump will never be a great man. The younger McCain said Trump spent the weekend "obsessing" and insisted that he could "never live up to" her father. Trump tweeted that "last in his class" McCain sent a dossier about to the FBI and media about Trump hoping to have it published before the election.        Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen [[ KIR-sten ]] Nielsen says threats to the United States are more grave now than they were at any time since the 9-11 attacks. Her comments came at a speech in DC today. She argued that the U.S. must be aggressively resilient to deal with varied threats in a fast-changing world.        Over a thousand people are feared to be dead in Mozambique after a cyclone slammed the country. The nation's President says entire villages were left submerged in water, leaving bodies floating in what was left of the ruined regions. The Cyclone is thought to be the most destructive storm to hit the African country in over a decade.        Jury selection is underway for the trial of the Florida man accused of throwing his five-year-old daughter to her death from a bridge in 2015. John Jonchuck had been found incompetent to stand trial and was undergoing treatment at a state mental hospital. In 2017, doctors determined he was ready to face whatever punishment was coming. Jury selection in his Clearwater first-degree murder trial is expected to last for at least a week.
