An independent inspector general will expand a new, internal investigation of the FBI and Justice Department. A White House statement says the expanded probe will look for irregularities with the FBI or Justice Department's tactics concerning the Trump presidential campaign.        President Trump and South Korean President Moon Jae-in [[ jay-IN ]] meet at the White House today. The get-together comes a few weeks before Trump's planned summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. North Korea threatened to pull out of the summit last week in a dispute over joint military exercises between the U.S. and South Korea.        Congressional primary elections are on in four states today. Voters will cast ballots in Texas, Georgia, Kentucky, and Arkansas. In all four states, Democrats are running for the nominations to challenge Republican congressmen.        Students from across Texas are pressing Governor Greg Abbott to take action on gun safety. More than 40 students signed an open letter to Abbott in a full-page ad in today's edition of the "Houston Chronicle." The ad comes less than a week after a shooting at a high school near Houston killed ten people.        Authorities on Hawaii's Big Island are keeping an eye on a geothermal plant as lava flows could cause the release of more dangerous gases. The Kilauea [[ KILL-uh-WAY-uh ]] volcano erupted earlier this month and has continued to worsen conditions in the area. More than 20 cracks in the Earth have opened, sending lava across neighborhoods.        More Americans are becoming millionaires. Fidelity Investments reports the number of Americans with at least a million dollars in their 401(k) retirement accounts is up 45 percent over the past year. According to Fidelity, most of the new millionaires have been saving for about 30 years. They've benefited from the stock market's run-up over the past five years.
