President Trump says Israel and Iran have agreed to a ceasefire. Trump posted, "there will be a complete and total ceasefire." Trump adds this is an "official end to the 12-day war" and it "will be saluted by the world." He concluded by saying, "God bless Israel, God bless Iran, God bless the Middle East, God bless the United States of America, and God bless the world!"        The NATO summit at The Hague in the Netherlands on Tuesday will have a different agenda. The meeting comes right on the heels of the ceasefire between Iran and Israel that was announced by President Trump on Monday. NATO leaders will now discuss the U.S. and perhaps NATO's involvement in that peace process.        The Supreme Court is allowing the Trump administration to deport convicted criminals to so-called "third countries" even if they have no connection to the nation. It puts a hold on a federal judge's ruling that said those being deported should have a chance to bring claims that they would be at risk of persecution or death if sent to the countries. All three liberal judges on the court dissented.        Governor Abbott is taking steps to keep the Texas hemp industry going. On Sunday, the governor vetoed a bill that called for a state ban on THC products. The action potentially starts a minor feud between Abbott and Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, who had pushed for the ban.        The U.S.'s abortion rates are on the rise. According to data from the Society of Family Planning, in 2024, abortions totaled one-point-14 million despite years of bans and restrictions on reproductive care. The report found abortions delivered via telehealth have jumped significantly since Roe v. Wade was overturned, but the majority of abortions still happened in person.        Sales of previously owned homes rose slightly in May to an annual rate of just over four-million units. According to the National Association of Realtors, existing home sales edged up eight-tenths percent for the month, but were still down from May of last year. Housing analysts were predicting a one-percent decline as mortgage rates remain high.
