Mayor Welcomes Woonsocket Residents and Business Owners to Comprehensive Plan Workshop

WOONSOCKET, R.I.: Mayor Lisa Baldelli-Hunt today welcomed all Woonsocket residents and business owners to the final public workshop for the City’s new Comprehensive Plan that will take place on Wednesday, October 25, from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at the Woonsocket Education Center located at 115 Main Street. The Mayor stated, "I urge everyone interested in Woonsocket’s future to attend the workshop and learn more about our proposed new Comprehensive Plan. Our Planning and Development Department is excited to reveal what this draft of the Comprehensive Plan looks like and how it will help steer us to become an even better place to live, work, raise a family, and operate a business."

State law requires the City of Woonsocket to update the Comprehensive Plan every ten years. The current draft is ready for review and is available online at
